Welcome to Candle Magic 101!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with using candles in magic—with spells, chants, etc.—I will endeavor to teach you everything I know…and then some. And for those of you who already have some knowledge of candle magic, perhaps you will find something new and interesting in this course; something useful to you.

In this course, we will be studying:

• How candle magic came to be used
• How to make your own candles for magic work
• Colors and scents and how they play a role in your spell work
• You will learn how to ‘dress’ a candle
• And finally, you will be given some spells to try!

I highly recommend that we all communicate regularly to ask questions, to get to know each other, and to post any thoughts or concerns you might have. All comments are welcome!

Let me start by saying that I, personally, have been using this particular craft for many years—too many to mention here!

For some, like me, the candles have always worked in one way or another. They have provided me with a soft glowing light, wonderful scents, and a relaxing atmosphere; just delightful!

Don’t be discouraged by me or anyone else. The candles do work, but like anything else in life—many factors play a role in whether or not they work; how soon they work; and to what extent they work. But, all of this will be discussed as we make our way through the course.
