    In this introduction course we will cover basic postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), and meditation (dhyana) techniques necessary to start you on your path to enlightenment.

    ISHTA yoga is a combination of elements from many yoga styles. Upon completing this course you will have a working knowledge of and the ability to practice and benefit physically, mentally and emotionally from ISHTA yoga.

  • This course is designed for beginners, but is also a good refresher course. It covers the history and purpose of meditation. This course will teach you how to get started, how to create a sanctuary, about the different types of breathing, and some basic visualization exercises. Starting with lesson 3, each lesson will provide you with a meditation exercise. You will learn several types of meditation, including visual, vocal, and walking meditations.
